Manscaped™ has released The Lawn Mower® 4.0 trimmer. It has received wide acclaim, and many users are already quite happy with it. Since it's gaining popularity worldwide, we figured it's time to provide a quick tutorial for use. We're going to show you how the power system works for the new trimmer. It's pretty intuitive, but it never hurts to have formal instructions available just in case.
These directions will show you how to power the trimmer, use the power lock, charge it and read the LED indicators. Nothing in here is complicated, but if you want to know a little bit more about your trimmer, you'll find the information below.
Turning on The Lawn Mower 4.0
The power button is centered on the front of the trimmer. You won't miss it, but we'll be thorough anyway. If you hold the trimmer like you are ready to use it, your palm will point at the button. It's on the opposite side of the trimmer from your hand. To turn on the trimmer, press the button. It should start quietly buzzing.
Here is a video showing you how to turn on the Lawn Mower 4.0:
There's a new feature with The Lawn Mower 4.0 trimmer that might make this a little tricky. There's a new travel lock. While the lock is activated, the motor will not power on. To turn the lock on or off, press the power button three times in succession.
Charging The Lawn Mower 4.0
Of course, the trimmer needs juice to work. If you've used a previous version of The Lawn Mower trimmer, you've always charged it by plugging it into the cord that comes in the box. That tactic will no longer work as the 4.0 trimmer does not have a charging port anywhere.
It is only charged through wireless induction, which means you never plug anything into the trimmer itself. A wireless charging stand is included in the packaging with The Lawn Mower 4.0 trimmer. To use it, simply plug in the wireless charger and place it in the stand.
Using the new LED indicators
Another new feature on The Lawn Mower 4.0 is the LED lighting indicator. The indicator is constructed of three LED lights that let you know how much charge is left in the battery. It's pretty nice that you no longer have to guess if there's enough power left in the battery to get through a grooming session.
Since the indicator has three lights, you can use them to gauge the battery life. If all three lights are on, it's fully charged. As the battery drains, the lights will go dark, one at a time, to show you how much is left. If no lights come on, the battery is fully dead and needs to be recharged.
We tried to fill The Lawn Mower 4.0 trimmer with features and improvements that make grooming easier and more convenient. The power system in the 4.0 is overhauled from what we have used before. With easier charging, a longer-lasting battery, and the travel lock, we hope you'll find that grooming has never been better.
